Urgent Demonstration announcement
Uyghur Canadian Association is going to hold its early planned demonstration on July 20th, 1- 03.30 PM in front of China's Consular General in Toronto to protest China's unlawful arrest and imprisonment of Canadian Citizen Mr. Huseyin Celil since June, 2006.
As you all well aware, after being arrested by Uzbeki authority on March 27th, 2006 in Tashkent, Mr. Celil has been transferred to China at the end of June for exchange of dirty political deal between China and Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan "accidentally" lost Mr. Celil's Canadian Passport and citizenship legal documents and sent him back to China without any Canadian identity.
now China is claiming that Mr. Celil is "Chinese" by contradicting with its own Nationality Law and ignoring his Canadian Citizenship
Mr. Celil's Case is becoming very serious and more dangerous day by day.
Life of Canadian citizen is greatly at stake under Chinese hand.
China is acting like Mafia organization, disregarding its international obligation and Canadian Diplomatic request to return him back to Canada safe and sound.
We are expecting that Mr. Celil's case will be raised during G-8 summit in Moscow with China's leaders and outcome of the meeting will be available on July 18th whether or not there will be new development.
It is time to show our Canadian sprit and solidarity as a one voice against China's misbehavior.
