However Ambassador Gary Locke is not the first U.S. envoy whom had met representatives of ethnic minorities abroad or visited autonomous regions, his visit to East Turkestan was a couragious action. Hope that his resignation is not linked with the Uyghur human rights issue! For sure the Uyghur people will remember him as "The U.S. Ambassador"!
