The Eurasian American Cultural Association (EACA) along with The American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) invites you to a NOWRUZ Celebration on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at NOVA Annandale Campus. A diverse group of guests including ambassadors, elected officials, community leaders, business, media and academia will be attending the celebration. EACA & ATFA will be bringing the Eurasian American communities together to celebrate this ancient holiday in Virginia. There will be cultural food, folk dances, songs and poems. We would be most honored with your attendance at this very important event.

The Eurasian American Cultural Association is an institution dedicated to community involvement. EACA has been organizing educational and cultural activities such as nowruz celebration, lectures, seminars, language courses, art exhibits, concerts, informational programs, library events and workshops about Eurasian cultures. By understanding and learning about the local community and placing special emphasis on dialog, peace and environmental issues are ways EACA are involved in the community.

The American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to addressing the social and cultural needs of Turkish and American friends living in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. We aim to promote the understanding of American and Turkish cultures, and to foster integrity through cultural and educational activities. Providing an inspiring atmosphere for friends and helping them better integrated with their local communities are some of the primary goals of our association. Contributions to peace, prosperity and harmony is greatly appreciated within our association. We believe getting to know one another other will help build bridges of understanding amongst our communities.
