05-10-11, 14:50
We are very pleased to offer an evening of Uyghur fine dining, prepared by a master chef and presented in Philadelphia's historic Old City district at National Mechanics Restaurant. Our guest chef, Ahmet Mamut, currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Uyghur, he has a lifetime of experience with his homeland's cuisine as well as the cultural influences of neighboring countries (he is fluent in Uyghur, Russian, Chinese and English). Chef Mamut has been cooking Uyghur food professionally for over a decade, serving as head chef for restaurants in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan as well as in the USA. We are very proud to bring him to Philadelphia for this event.

The event will be a price-fixed four-course meal including Soup, Salad, Entree and Dessert courses. There will also be nan served with the meal. At least one option per course is available for halal or vegan diners. The cost of $35 for the meal includes tax but not beverages or tips. There will be a six 6pm seating and an 8pm seating. Advance reservations are very strongly recommended.
