Why the world silent on Uyghurs? First let us look at what is happening to Uyghurs in the very recent history. 22Uyghurs have been jailed in Guantanamo Bay captured in Pakistan and Afghanistan after September 11th, 2001s. None have ever been accused of plotting against the United States. But when US requests countries to accept these Ughurs, they start to reject one after one. Even as the Human Rights model Sweden also rejected to accept two Uyghurs in this month. Last month, Cambodia has sent 22 Uyghurs who asylum seekers from UN office back to china. Even some of them have legel VISA, the rediculious reason for sending them back is that they are illegal entered Cambodia territory. This month, Burma send 17 Uyghur asylum seekers back to china. They said because chinese government blaming them as Nation splitters. Why even they were declared as innocent no country willing to accept them? Why are the countries notoriously sending the asylum seekers back to china?
On july 5th, 2009, in a demonstration that is happen in Urumqi, the capital of the so called Uyghur Aptonom Region, nearly 800 people died, thousands were missed, and thousands were captured by the police. But until now there is no strong blame or examine to the reallity of the demonstration. World power US, highly civilized EU, and UN all they are only show their sympathy for it. No one asked why so many people died, missed and jailed? As if the death of the Uyghurs life is a petty case. Reality shows that for countries, the national intrest is becoming the most important rather than the justice. In these countries eyes, life of Uyghurs are not thing compare to Gold and money. What is difference between Cambodia sending back asylum seekers to china and selling the slaves in ancient years?
Injustice, hoplessness, unblieveness were spread all over Shinjiang. Let us look at again the 60 years history of china”s rulling over Shinjiang. Even 60 years passed, there is a big gap between minority and Xan Chinese. Almost all chinese even cant speak a word of Uyghur, but Uyghurs are forced to ban their mother language to teaching in schools. Xan chinese university students have several option for job hunting when they are graduate from universities, but the Uyghurs couldn't find a job until waiting 3-5 years. Some chinese they have only studied until high school were working in the important positions of the govenment while Uyghurs who have Bacheler"s degree were putted on the position of door guard.
There is no guarantee of Law for Uyghurs in Shinjiang. In Xan chinese eyes, all Uyghurs are enemy of the Nation. Police can check you at anytime in anyplace without any certification just because you were Uyghurs. If you are Uyghurs, in the inner land of China you cant book to a hotel for staying a night even there are empty rooms. We are living in the same country, in the same land, we are holding same Chinese identity cards but we were lack of mutual understanding, mutual respect, and equal treating. Working in the same bureau, studying in the same schools, living neibours to each others a several years, there is only a rare chinese make friendship with Uyghurs.
The aim of the Chinese government is extincting the minority culture. Look at Tibet, look at the Mongul, their traditional culture almost destroyed by govenment’s forced policy. Since the 60 years reality of rulling by communist party of China, the culture of Uyghur is destroying, even some cities as like Kashgar has nearly 2000years history were totally ruined.
Within 60 years, china becomes on of the worlds strong economiest country. But the Uyghurs are still poor, at least 70% of the Uyghurs are still peasants. Even the Uyghurs continue to become poor and poor day by day. In the oil rich Shinjiang, the oil storage which shinjiang possessed is 1/4 of the total amount of the oil of China, the natural gas, 1/3 of the total amount of China, is piping to Peking and Shanghai. The surprising fact is that the price in Peking and Sanghai is cheaper than Shinjiang. Gold, Uranium, and Coal resouces are in the top list of china. In the energy or resources related farms, Ughurs works are less than 5%. So called Aptonom Region cant get any tax from these resources. More than 50% of the economy of Shinjiang is in the hand of Bingtuan(a cummunity that is purely included in Xan chinese and dealing with the agricultural plant by the direct belongi to the central govenment).
Since 60 years, what the minorities were expected was to improve their life, to improve their political positions. But 6 decades passed, not thing improved. Government is all along cheating the minority. Uyghurs becom the second or even the third level citizen of the nation. The life standards are retarding. Everything you should obey to central government whether it is proper apply to local situation and to the differnet ethnics or not. You cant freely talk about history, religion, and politics. All the promises by government are only <Black letters on the White papers>. Ther is no justice by the chinese law. Uyghur peoples honeslty expectations from the government, willings for better life all these are deceived by the Chinese Government. Uyghurs start to loose any hopes from officials. Proposals were rejected. Peacefully demonstartions were deadly suppressed. There is never allowed to negotiation with the government. Becouse China afraid one day he will loose the New terrotory(i.e., Shinjiang), he don't like to lost the region wich owned the rich energy resource, and stratigically important border of china. He wants to diminish the local as soon as possible, he wants to grasp the resource as much as possible. He is accelerating to assimilating the minorities. He is start to extending his fascist ambitious of governing the world.
