新疆喀什袭警两涉案人被判死刑

暴力袭击共导致17人死亡，15人受伤
新疆喀什中级人民法院星期三（12月17日）判处杀死17名警察的两名新疆人死刑。

这两人在8月份北京奥运会召开前的几天在新疆喀什袭击警察，导致17人死亡，15人受伤。

中国政府称这两人是暴力恐怖分子，并指责袭击警察是维吾尔少数民族的分裂分子为寻求新疆独立而 策划的。

喀什中级人民法院判处被告人库尔班江�依明提和阿不都热合曼�阿扎提死刑。

对他们的控罪是非法制造枪支、弹药、爆炸物罪以及故意杀人罪。

新华社说，8月4日清晨，喀什地区公安边防支队70名民警出早操，行至怡全宾馆门口时突然遭到一辆自卸货车 从后面袭击。

报道说，货车向武警官兵疯狂冲撞、碾轧，致15人死亡，13人受伤，之后，阿不都热合曼�阿扎提从车中出来 ，持枪向武警射击并引爆一枚自制爆炸装置。

同时，库尔班江�依明提朝边防支队大门哨兵投掷一枚自制爆炸装置，又持刀乱砍被碾轧致伤的武警，致１人死亡 、２人受伤。

两人也被当场抓获。

中国当局指责新疆的穆斯林在该地区发动一场伊斯兰暴力分离主义运动，目的是为了寻求独立。

批评人士指责北京利用恐怖主义为借口打击以和平方式表达独立诉求的维吾尔人。

Martyrs live forever
